Zoé Orion is the generic nerd of her school, always with her head in a book. Quiet, smart, funny when she wants to be. Her only friend is Mei but even Zoé doesn't know the full story of Mei's past. Can she really trust her? With her family secret on the line can she really trust anyone?

Mei Redd is the quiet kid, the one know one in their right mind will mess with. Always getting into fights and struggling to stay clear of expulsion, all the while fending off her abusive family back home. Zoé has always been the one to help her from getting into fights and keeps her in control. Will Mei be able to keep her in control this time? 

What will happen when these girls seemingly normal lives get flipped upside down, and they end up in the middle of a magical war that spans throughout the multiverse. Linking them to an ancient order from the beginning of time.
