In the city of Vir girls are property, bred and raised to be the perfect wives. To serve and obey and honor the men that rule their city. Elaia has always been content with her place in society. She is a perfect daughter, and with any luck she'll be promised to the most important man in the city by the end of the year. But when she inadvertently breaks one of the three rules all girls are required to follow, her father sends her in for re-education. Castine has spent her entire life in the small village of Atria, far away from the men that would enslave her. But when their carefree town is raided by hunters, Castine and her brother Valas are captured and taken to the city. There, Valas is sent to a conversion camp and Castine ends up in the facility- a terrifying place where women are taught to be good little housewives. Elaia just wants to graduate so she can get out of the facility and get back to her perfect life. But Castine has other plans. Plans to escape and find her brother. Elaia and Castine don't get along, and they'll be happy when they can go their separate ways. But things won't be so simple. The facility has more sinister plans for the girls, and they just might have to rely on each other if they're ever going to get free. ________________ Updates every Tuesday Rankings: #1 - patriarchy #180 - dystopia
