A nice town.  A quiet town.  A town where a long list of unforgettable kids live.  

Then one day, that town is a bit too quiet. 

The kids of a town named Honeydale are celebrating an annual Bonfire Night, a night of which they get to spend with no supervision.  They had just completed their freshman year of highschool, and were excited to watch as the flames erupted like it had every other year. 

But this year is quite different. 

23 kids went to the bonfire that year.

And 23 kids were knocked out only to awaken in the House.  

They'd be missing for a while. 

And some would be missing forever. 

Because in the House, there is only one objective:

This fanfiction is based off of a Roblox game called Flicker.  If you haven't played it, I highly recommend you do.  Not only will it explain the plot of this story, it's just an amazing game in general.  Again, if you haven't played Flicker, please go do that when you have free time.  Thank you.

Fifteen Markers receive an invitation to a mysterious gathering, signed by an anonymous writer. The letter states that the event is a deduction game - fun and harmless. All invitees decide to go anyway, what's the harm? Later on, everything seems fine. Sure, the creepy and broken-down demeanor of the House is slightly misleading, but the host gives off a light-hearted mood, speaking excitedly through the PA speakers. It makes everything better... Until the lights go off. Backstabbing, betrayal, murder, and drama occurs. The worst part is, the host doesn't seem to care if anyone's being killed off - at least, not as much as the actual participants do. When it comes to the final four, everything becomes more serious.
