Heather Sanders is an ordinary girl. She runs cross country, draws, reads, and writes. She was in the top 10% of her senior class and has an average GPA of 4.1. What's not to like about this girl? She still struggles with the fact that she has no idea of what she wants to do now that she's done with high school. Of course she is going to college, but with all the stress going on in her life, she feels like it's only going to get worse. With her low ACT score to her self-esteem.

Everyone except Heather thinks she is an award winning girl.

She has always been single and has never been truly in love. Maybe that has been because she has never truly thought she was beautiful. All except twice. Once when she was going to her junior prom with her beat friend, Cali. And then when she met Zander Ryker. The twenty one year old basketball point guard, and the soccer superstar. They run into one another at Heather's part time job at The Wet bar Lounge, where Cali and Heather work as waitresses.
