Liberty is in one of the last towns in the United States. A virus from 27 years ago, had put the world on pause. People were dying, what did the government do? Put giant glass domes around towns. Then tested people that didn't carry the virus and placed them in these towns.

Liberty has just turned 18, which means she's on the list. The list is a structure of an army deployment roster. If you are picked from the list you under go a series of test. These test determine your intelligence, your strength, and your ability to obey.
