Imagine to yourself. You're granted a chance at the Top Academy of your country. After being through so much hell, you're given the chance of a lifetime. Such is that with Akira Odashi and his Older Brother, Junpei Odashi. Both Brothers are accepted into Extraordinary Minds Academy. An Academy meant for those in the world with Extraordinary Mindsets or Talents that can change the world. Both Orphans who have lost their mother, are accepted into the Academy as part of a program. A program known as the Humanity Preservation Program. A Program made for Top Students to take part of the leaders in 3 Branches of Society. Technology, Money, and Power. However..Someone has hijacked the facility the students dont remember themselves ever staying in, and sent in a Robotic AI named Monodev, who has tasked these students with one task. Kill a student and get away with it. If caught, you die. If you get away with it, you risk killing everyone else. Who will survive? Who will die? Whos the one orchestrating this horrific game? (Sidenote: This story and setting is my own, however I don't own Danganronpa. This is a fanfiction I wrote for the series but set in an AU with my own plot and this is a rewrite from previous version.) Heads Up: This is a Next Generation AU for the series Danganronpa. There will be references to all 4 games as well as the anime, so if you're unfamiliar with the series then it is highly recommended you either watch gameplay or play the games yourself, as that will give you the best reading experience. Since this story is a fanmade killing game, there will be mentions of violence as well as Major Character Death, so if you know you are someone who is sensitive to that material then it is recommended you give this story a pass. With that said, onto the ACTUAL description! ----- Hopes Peak Academy. A prestigious school, one that carried respect and praise; it is said that attending the school would grant you a successful future, whether that be money, fame, or status. The students represent the future of the world, their titles as Ultimates representing the hope that followed our future leaders. Satoshi Ikusaba, the Ultimate Strategist, had a plan on how his first day would go- he made sure to prepare for ANYTHING that could happen. Breakfast before school? Check. School supplies ready? Check. Getting him and his step-sister to school on time? Check. Passing out at the front of the school and waking up in a weird hotel with no idea how he got there? Check...
