Oscar Diaz never had a set life plan. He didn't plan to raise his 10 year old brother when his druggie mom abandoned them, didn't plan to get jumped into Los Santos when he was 15, and didn't plan to become leader of a gang at 24. Laney Devin never really thought about her life past 18 years old. Hell, she wasn't even sure she would make it that far. Here she is, moving from Brentwood to Freeridge at the start of her Senior year. Forced to meet new people and explore new relationships, she falls for the gang leader across the street. On the outside they seem like complete opposites; the good girl and the bad boy. But, maybe they're exactly what each other needs.

*This is a fanfic based on the Netflix On My Block series. I do not own the characters that appear from the show. I own the ones that I created. The story takes a lot of creative liberty and it does not follow the On My Block story line represented in the show. It takes place after Season 3. The following events have been changed.

***Oscar Diaz (Spooky) didn't kill Cuchillos and didn't leave Freeridge.
***Cesar killed Latrelle when he was 17. Because of that, the squad (Ruby, Cesar, and Jamal) broke up.
****Monse went away to boarding school when she was 15 and has not returned.

I don't speak Spanish so the translations might be a bit off.
