Mia's family has always been kept her hidden from the world because of her origins. But one day during a visit from the royal family, she gets discovered by the first prince. Cora was always just a regular girl. She'd been raised as an orphan, but she had a stable life and she wanted to keep it that way. But when her best friend brings exciting news of a rebellion rising up against the kingdom she knows that her peaceful life is ending. After meeting a charming rebel named Rhys, she grows suspicious of the true motives of this rebellion. As she follows her friend further down the path of rebellion she watches gruesome acts of 'justice' and discovers dark truths that she wants no part of.
Will Mia be able to hold up against high society while traversing through the secrets she discoverers? Will Cora be able to escape the hold of the rebellion? What will happen if these two should meet and put the full truth together? Will they be able to outlast all the darkness that surrounds them or will they be swallowed up in it.
