A forced marriage was hardly the recipe for happiness, especially when every conversation between them turned into an argument. From the very beginning, they seemed worlds apart, their differences clashing as often as their personalities.
But as time went on, she found herself softening, noticing small gestures and moments that hinted at a gentler side to him. No matter how often he made mistakes, she couldn't help but forgive him, surprising herself with how deeply her feelings were growing.
He, on the other hand, was haunted by the memory of his late mother, whose disapproval of his behavior as a husband would have been strong. He knew he was falling short, aware of his own shortcomings and their toll on her. Slowly but sincerely, he began to change, accepting his role as her husband and valuing her presence in his life.
Yet, true to his nature, he still couldn't say "I love you," withholding words she longed to hear.
Together, they began to rebuild, facing the challenges of their relationship and even fighting off an insidious homewrecker whose actions became increasingly vicious. Their bond strengthened through these battles, but she fell first, holding onto hope and love. In the end, however, he fell harder-a depth of feeling he never expected, nor knew how to handle.
But then came the tragedy, tearing them apart just as he finally recognized how much he loved her. Now, while she seems to have moved on, maybe not even thinking of him, he's left struggling with a deep, unspoken longing. Her coldness toward him cuts deeper than he ever imagined, yet he still clings to a shred of hope, even as he despises his own cowardice.
Now, with only twenty-nine days left, he's determined to be brave, just once, even if it means risking his heart. For her, for himself, and for the love he's finally ready to fight for.
