during the creation of man, a species of bird-like humanoids named "Corvins" were created from the canvus of Gods and gave them a new world called "iraltia" a world which would soon face a unspeakable, and unknowable curse of undeath. this story follows one such corvin, one who's struggled through the golden age of his time as the future captain of the gaurd of his home kingdom and still continues to struggle to keep himself going, even at the end of time itself, testing the true limits of one's own strength, willpower, determination, vengence, and even his own friendship with others.

One was left standing until a powerful creature appears the individual tried to fight it but it was useless the seven individuals that died in battle came back to life and helped fight the creature and defeat it. Once the creature was defeated the eight individuals looked at each other until symbol appeared on them choosing them as heroes. A vortex appeared behind the individuals and took them to another world. What will happen to the individuals who are they going to fight? All they know is that they are not in their world anymore. The Dragons could lend their powers to the humans and the chosen human of each dragon became one with the dragon, inheriting great strength and elemental powers. However there was one dragon Armageddon, a dark dragon who hated humans, jealous of their duty as rulers of Ryugaeia. Armageddon revolted and awakened an army of Dark Dragons, then joining forces with an equally evil human warlord, he terrorized Ryugaeia. When evil was at its peak, a new hope was created. It was the Dragonhaärt. All the good dragons combined their spirits and a Dragonheart was born. This heart could control all dragon powers put together and Armageddon was defeated and sealed. This was however at a terrible price. Dragons suffered extinction and the Dragonheart was lost forever. Prophets and seers prophesied the return of the Dragonheart and the final defeat of Armageddon. In time all this came to be known as "The Tragic Legend." As to when the Dragonheart would return, no one knew.

The rest of humanity then began hunting down the 52 card users with extreme violence, but since a card would randomly pass to another person in the world, they began imprisoning them. Years past, now in modern-day, a boy hurt and scared because of the hunt for the card wielders, blames the gods and so the Devil bestowed upon him their card.
