Princesses are graceful and elegant. Princesses are beautiful and poised. Princesses are delicate and soft. In other words, princesses are not athletic, adventurous, outspoken, and cheeky like Elynea of Adamen. But no one seemed to give her that memo. 

When Elynea upsets a visiting ruler with her untamable attitude, her father decides to send her to a secret school for elite warriors, hoping that their discipline will enable her to become the princess everyone expects her to be. But when the school faces an attack from an ancient enemy, the princess finds herself thrust in a world of new perils and unimaginable discovery, a world she can only survive if she is able to master the skills of both a warrior and a princess.
