Years after Malekith triumphed over the earth, shadowing our corner of the universe with darkness and decay. Thor had shamelessly abandoned our planet, his endeavours to save the human race failed. Very few survivors escaped the dark elves, the fortunate few were offered asylum across the stars, in the  kingdom of Asgard. We were to regress back to our own history of worshiping in sworn service to our Norse Gods.

My name is Alison Iver I have the weight of rebellion on my shoulders and a heart clenching betrayal at my feet. Thrust into the centre of a cataclysmic war with an age old prophecy to fulfil, I will not fail my people.

Unrequited love contends with forbidden desires, my heart in turmoil. Do I have the ability to decipher between what was just and what was necessary?
Could I live with the consequences of my actions?

Would I be able to kill in cold blood the man I so profusely hate, the one she cannot live without? Is there another course? A heart torn between two can never be whole.
