There aren't many complications in Quinn Ashwood's life... He has his friends... The little business he runs... The love and support of his pack and an apartment that he finally has decorated with just enough of his favorite shade of soothing forest green to really feel like home... But as he watches his friends settle into life with their mates he can't help but feel like something is missing.

What will he do when he finds the missing piece of himself in an interesting witch who introduces himself as Archibald, Archie for short.

Waking up face down in mud sucks any day of the week. But coming around in the sludge of a strange realm...? Well, that just redefines a bad day altogether. Trapped in an unfamiliar world, sixteen-year-old Quinn is frustrated that none of the strange Tree People appreciate his urgency to get back home to earth. Now he is faced with a choice that could change the course of his life: escape and find his own way home, or stay and help them find the cause of the poison ravishing their world. When the mind-reader unlocks one of the ancient mysteries of the Tree People it points to the only way of saving them from annihilation: they have to find the Power of Light. What exactly that means, the mind-reader doesn't reveal, but his next warning comes as a shock to all present: finding the mysterious Power of Light can only be done with the help of the dangerous enemy tribe whom they once called family. Quinn soon finds himself a little more entangled in the lives of these gifted beings than he'd care to be. Especially after meeting Jazz: the feisty girl from his world who seems to be a regular visitor to the world of Zoay. To Quinn's constant frustration, the aqua-eyed pixie makes it clear that she's not there to make friends. On their journey they'll brave bizarre encounters in dangerous alien forests, while sacrificing pride and will for the survival of all. Along the way Quinn finds more than he ever thought to seek: purpose, fulfillment and love. When the Power of Light is finally found a devastating discovery is made: if all of Zoay-including their enemy-want to live and prosper, one must be willing to sacrifice their life.

In the quiet town of Devontae, a foreboding forest on the edge of the community is the source of countless whispered warnings and eerie legends. Despite his parents' strict advice to avoid the forest, Ash, a daring and adventurous young boy, is irresistibly drawn to its dark mysteries. Armed with nothing but a flashlight and a compass, Ash sneaks out one moonlit night to uncover the truth behind the forest's menacing reputation. As Ash ventures deeper into the forest, the path soon vanishes, leaving him lost and disoriented. The sounds of cracking bones and a chilling presence force Ash into a desperate sprint for safety. His harrowing encounter with a grotesque creature-part human, part animal-leaves him marked with a mysterious glowing symbol, the Fexlai, tied to ancient and ominous powers. The next day, Ash's encounter with the creature and the symbol haunts him, driving him to seek answers. His search leads him to Mr. Thompson, the town's historian, who reveals the symbol's connection to a guardian of the forest known as the Feralim. The revelation confirms Ash's fears and raises new questions about the forest's secrets and its dark protector. Determined to uncover the truth and lift the curse that now binds him, Ash prepares for another foray into the forest. As he defies his father's orders and sneaks out under the cover of darkness, he realizes that the forest's secrets are far more perilous than he ever imagined. With each step deeper into the woods, Ash must confront his fears, unravel the mysteries of the Feralim, and find a way to escape the forest's sinister grasp before it's too late.
