When a war has been revived... the Flamesteppers, a long forgotten, exiled pack are forced out of hiding with a new leader, Kupisa... in the past her father, Feuer, allied with the Voltaris, who in return, wanted something from them... that something was Kupisa's brother... whom they turned into a monster... now her brother has been revived from his idle state, and she must figure out how to protect her pack from his dark influence...
    
    Meanwhile in Sendaria, a pair of littermates hide in fear from their pack. Their mother had been killed for going against her Pack's enforced law, and now the two Watersteppers must flee from the eyes of their pack, and the coming war...
    
    In the forests of Underwood, a rogue Shadowstepper must embark on a journey to save the world from another war, by helping her human friend reunite something thought only to be legend...
    
    And in the depths of Felden's jungles, a Foreststepper hides alone as he takes on the forces of the dead...
