"You'd be stupid to keep me here." She shook her head and pushed his hand off of her arm. He took her chin into his index finger and thumb, picking up her head to face him. In her eyes, there was nothing but a shattered heart, a scared mind, and an empty soul. This wasn't the girl he fell in love with years ago. This wasn't the girl who gave him a beautiful son. This wasn't the one who got away. But he knew she was in there. And he'd do whatever it took to bring her back.

He's someone who wants to find love, but he's looking in all the wrong places. He's dated all kinds of women, from strippers, to singers, to models, to regular women. All he wants is what everybody else wants, to be loved. One night after a show, on the Party Tour, he meets a woman (Shawnie Roberts), it's love at first sight. He does everything he can to make her fall in love with him, but she's battling her own issues, and things don't quite workout. Blinded by love, things quickly progress for Chris, but not for Shawnie, which turns out to be a huge problem for him. Not to mention a certain someone who also becomes a problem for him.
