Mochi is a young girl who wants to become a better Pokémon Trainer.
Failing for three years and still having a weak Tepig as her partner depressed her, and so she travels to a village where Pokémon and trainers supposedly grow stronger. Supposedly, the food there is so nutritious, no one could stay weak.
Despite all of this, the village is not very well-regarded, and Mochi suspects it's a scam.
In the end, though, her hope outweighs her doubts and she travels down a route she won't ever come back from...
