Kate Shultz is just a teenage girl among her circle of friends, known as the Riders Club. Her only worries were if she was going to ace her physics test on Monday and if she was going to go mudding the following Saturday. But, when friendships turn sinister and people start going missing, ancient legends start stirring up in the small town and everyone is on edge. When more and more mysterious happenings occur, are the legends more than legends? Can Kate Shultz convince the Riders that they have to take action? Or better yet, can Kate Shultz convince herself?

[Complete. Wattys 2023 Winner] The Redding takes you if it knows your name. That's the rule that's kept Meg alive --- or awake, rather --- since the night the world went to hell. Nobody knows where the red stuff came from, but it acts like water, it's in the water, and it falls as rain every night. The people it captures drop like puppets with their strings cut. They're asleep, not dead, and you can wake them if you say their name again. But then they just try to kill you. Meg and the other survivors she's befriended think they've found a stable equilibrium, six weeks after the catastrophe began. Nicknames become real names, and Meg knows she's getting better at identifying safe houses. Her crush discovers that Morse code, like writing, is a safe way to say a Sleeper's name. It's the night after learning it that Meg wakes up just as the nightly rain is starting. Raindrops, as it turns out, can make dots and dashes, too. The Redding can talk. And it's telling her to run. ❖❖❖ Complete. Wattys 2023 Winner. "She was a rogue agent. A master in worshipping her work and herself. But suddenly she disappeared, without any track. Some thought she is dead, some thought she has taken a momentarily break and some thought she was still looking out for a chance to pounce on any other gang. I don't blame them, she had a track record for doing that and she was pretty good at it." Her last kill before she vanished out of this world of war, was one of the biggest group of smugglers. Now, many other groups and rogue agents are trying to track her down for one reason or another, but in that crowd this last group which she tackled down to ashes is also included. Not revenge but something bigger. More than hard feelings, more than just a rage of vengeance. Something to gnaw at for a specific reason. Any guesses why this group is searching for it's biggest enemy? ●●●●● "Why did you refuse...?! "Beacuse...I don't want to lose the people ..I c-care for anymore..!"
