In the March of 1940, when Muslim League of India declares to demand a separate state for Muslims living in India. Mehar Bano, eldest daughter of a Muslim League supporter in Kanpur, finds herself in catastrophic circumstances when a Hindu boy sends a marriage proposal for her.  Her journey starts from 1940 to 1947, suffering everything that cut India into half, somehow managing to collect moments of love, compassion, and enlightening hope.
