Once upon a time, there was a beautiful young princess with skin as white as snow, hair as black as ebony, lips as red as blood - except that isn't her. That is the girl you see in the picture books, known only by a nickname: Snow White.
That's not all of her. Her name is Margaretha. Once a princess, now prey. And hers is a story of a girl struggling to stay kind in an unkind world, to find poppy flowers blooming even when there's snow.
