Hunters are in charge of keeping the peace and getting rid or fixing those that are causing problems, the hunters are made up of the most socially accepted races and are often from well to do families or those with a background that clashes with that of other kinds. After an increase death rate around Forlinet and Dedbrook two islands 200 miles off the coast of the mainland Vyara they send one of their best hunters Ares to an island with a larger Selkie population believed to be the culprits, after all the bodies were washing up on the shore or not returning at all. Most of the victims have been fishermen or other sea faring men and women but some were swimmers or even vacation goers. His chance for revenge he jumps at it, whilst there he meets a mysterious marine biologist Nyx who is studying the dead zone around the area. Seeking her help with the matter at hand, after being told the creature he seeks resides on the smaller neighbouring island of Dedbrook

This year, as the Counting Day approached unrelentingly, and my loved one's life rested on borrowed time, I made a decision. I volunteered to be casted out. It was my turn to face the unknown with a hidden purpose - to locate my lost father who was sent there years ago.
