After a year of living in Manhattan, Mabel has fallen in love with the city. Her job as a software engineer is time consuming and sometimes stressful, but she's found ways to enjoy young adult life with her three best friends. The transition from college to working adult life can be hard, and most of her free time has been dedicated to finding a rhythm and happiness in this new chapter. Romantic relationships are the last thing she's worried about. But, a series of chance encounters with a cute boy who always seems to be wearing a cheeky grin challenges Mabel's new and stable routine. She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?"
