This story is written in Polnareff's point of view, it's easier for me to write.
Here's a basic explanation of the AU:Nobody died. Polnareff moved from France to Japan at a young age and became friends with Kakyoin because they could both see their stands at a young age. They grew up together and decided to go to the same schools/college. The adults from the anime/manga like Rohan, Dio, Jonathan and Pucci are professors.
There are also a couple tropes mixed in because why not:
•Kakyoin, the bisexual who's constantly flirting and being a smartass
•Polnareff, angy but has a good heart
•Jotaro is just Jotaro but he vapes and is a cool kid
•Avdol is quiet and seems serious but utterly the most chaotic of all of them
Because this is modern they will also wear popular and common fashion for college students.
Their injuries gained through the series are turned into types of disabilities. I.e. Polnareff has bad knees and Kakyoin has the scars over his eyes and a scar on his stomach from accidents they've gotten into.
Part 2 characters are also young but instead of Ceasar, Joseph, and Suzie Q being 19 they're now in their 20s. Lisa Lisa and Erina stay their ages. All protagonists/side characters are students. So basically fuck time now they're all students are 18/19 and it's now 2020 but without the real life chaos.

Not long after Jotaro and Kakyoin graduate from high school, they got married and moved to a small beach like area on the outskirts of Tokyo. And even had a little girl they named "Jolyne", but then one day.. They recieved an urgent call from The Speedwagon Foundation. Jotaro's been gone for almost three months on a business trip, leaving Kakyoin and their five year old daughter, Jolyne, completely alone. At least one-three times a week Jotaro will call home, just checking in. But one sunny afternoon when Kakyoin picks up the phone, that's not the case. In the town where Jotaro was sent to work, Morioh, stand users are popping up one after another. But they've been easy enough for the most part. But Jotaro and new comrades, Josuke Higashskita, Okuyasu Nijimura, Koichi Hirose, Rohan Kishibe, and Yukako Yamagishi, run into a foe they cannot defeat alone. At first it all seems easy, maybe some property damage here and there, but this is soon proven to be quite the difficult task. Unlike stand users in the past, they all had connections to other people like DIO, but this one fights completely alone. He wouldn't care when people label them as an odd couple, he would prove to them soon that Michiko and he will become the “best couple” in school. He would flirt with her publicly and openly shows sweet gestures to her. To Michiko, this is just too unexpected and she heard from the others that Kou was a timid student so she can't understand what's happening to him and thinks that maybe he's trying too hard and somehow feels the need to make him realize that being one's true self is better than changing to have others' approval.
