Every single summer she finds herself living with her grandmother in a rundown old school town. She finds herself needing a break from her troublemaker friends back home who cause more harm than good. This summer she'll face many battles such as new friends, new love, and many old faces. As one of the only African American families in a town full of old thoughts. She'll have to face discrimination along with people from her past. Throughout this journey, she meets two very different boys with very different stories and clashing personalities. Peach boy was gentle yet kind but he was also mysterious. He found himself running from his music-filled past snd rockstar father. While Roy was the total opposite. He was a born troublemaker with a past that he was running from by hiding in an apartment above a flower shop. He smokes cigarettes and he isn't the kindest person out there, but he had a heart of gold. People didn't know he was hiding a secret behind those cold eyes.
