They were going to lunch from their free period when Harry started ranting to Ron again. Hermione had Arithmancy, so she wasn't there for it. Ron had wished she was though because the "Malfoy this, Malfoy that" was getting to him. They'd meet up later on though. Harry would have time to fill her in.
"I'm telling you! He's paler!" Harry exclaimed.
"Mate, how do I put this? You're obsessed!" Ron tried to reason for the umpteenth time. Just then, a certain boy passed.
"Still with the Weasel, are you Potter?" Malfoy sneered not seeming to have heard the conversation. "Where's your mudblood girlfriend anyway?"
Ron's ears turned red as he shouted, "Not a mudblood! And not my girlfriend!"
"Bet you wish though. You Weasleys and muggles, eh?" Malfoy laughed.
And yet Harry couldn't care less about the vile things coming out of the blond's mouth. He was more aggravated by the fact his own name wasn't mentioned. He furrowed his eyebrows and went by impulse. He slammed Malfoy to the wall, but before anything else could happen-
"Potter! What are you doing!" McGonagall yelled.
