"Catch me if you can" Matilda Colombo had been running her entire life, until it all came to a crashing ending. Being caught was not her thing, and everyone knew it, or so they thought that they did. Living in the unsafe outskirts of Los Angeles, which is known for making stars in Hollywood, lives Matilda Colombo. But none of this matters, when 6 brothers catch her stealing from a nearby stall. She knew, immediately, that they did not fit in, so she ran. She ran, thinking she had outsmarted them, but that all comes to an end, when she gets caught, and people start confessing to her. "You think you can run your whole life? Well, little sister, I've played your game before, and you can't outsmart the winner" But when things take an unexpected turn, can she runaway, when there is more people depending on her to be good, rather than bad? Does she understand that people are expecting her to throw her entire life away, what she has known for 16, almost 17 years, is about to vanish from her clutch and she has no idea how to explain that pretty dresses and high heels isn't something for her. "Yell and scream in my face, call me all the names you want, throw me out, but remember this, you can't change me. No one can change me. This is the person I am, and if you don't like it, let me know, and I'll walk out the door, right here, right now" These boys think they know everything about girls, having slept with half of New York, that they think a 16 year old girl, will be who they are after. They think winning people is the aim of the game. That people need to follow them, but what happens when someone sticks out, and won't commit to their plan? "You don't know me! You don't know a single thing about me and that doesn't bother you! You only care about yourself, and that's fine, but stop pretending to care about me" --------------------------------------------------------------- Started: 18.06.24 Finished:

No! Don't prejudge the story by the cover. (Though this is the most appropriate and best one.) No! You need not like what I am saying. No! You need not agree with me. And ... No! You need not criticise my work. Of course, you can critically analyse my work. But, since I am not rude to any of you, since we don't hold personal grudges against each other, since I am just trying to express my views in a very friendly manner; you too need not be rude to me. If you do not like what I am trying to tell, you can definitely stop reading at that moment. If you want to share something or correct me, you can definitely do it, since I love learning. I humbly accept the truth that I know nothing. But whatever tiny piece of extra work my tiny brain does, I try to put it out in this huge world.
