A boy called Blake Smithson from America transferred into Shinpi Highschool in Japan (same school from the manga and anime take place). He is from the 12 world stories (similar to the 7 wonders) and is a supernatural. He has ghost like abilities but he can still die. Also he can't turn invisble, he can only teleport. Two of his other friends transferred with him.
