Gerard smiled slightly, taking a sip of his coffee. "What did Linds say?"
It took Frank a second to remember his train of thought but he got it quickly. "Yeah, uhm, she said you were super upset a- and I wanted to apologize again, I overreacted. I shouldn't be so sensitive, I know that, but I can't help it. So, again," he took a deep breath.
"How can I make it up to you?"
"You don't have to-"
"But I want to," he said, "please, Gee. I need to make it up to you or I'll always feel guilty. What can I do?"

Frank is a 19-year old in his second year of college and his life could honestly be better; his best friends are assholes, he doesn't have a girlfriend nor boyfriend, his classes are boring as fuck, and his anxiety also got worse again. Overall, everything is dull and boring, but he's content. He never wanted to have some adrenaline-filled life, he's more of a lazy, laid-back kind of guy.
All of that changes when a certain ex-boyfriend shows up at his college dorm.

A story of romance, tragedy, healing, and finally happiness, because everyone needs a happy ending sometimes. - Gerard doesn't talk to anyone, he doesn't know anyone, he's completely absorbed in the little bubble that is his independent little life. He's homeschooled as well, which means he only ever leaves to get groceries. For how little he leaves the house, and how closed off he is, it's quite a wonder how he met Frank. Frank is an extrovert and he kind of lacks boundaries when it comes to making friends. He's curious and speaks his mind constantly, which sometimes gets him into trouble. Frank is twenty eight: he's mentally stable for the most part, and well nobody has to know about pills he takes twice a day, do they? He's normal now, he's a person now, he's a fucking adult with an office job and he fucking hates it and that's fine, because he got out of the mental hospital three years ago, and these past three years of mundane nothingness have been the best three years of his life. Ten years ago, or so, Frank was in love with a boy called Gerard with fiery red hair and the personality of a switchblade knife, and ten years ago that boy called Gerard had killed himself. Frank still saw him though: hallucinations, as he knew them to be now, and it took him years in a hospital he never thought he'd get out of to convince himself of his newfound sanity, but he was okay now. Twenty eight year old Frank Iero had been officially 'okay' since he was twenty five. He hadn't seen Gerard again, and he didn't even think about the guy - he was just normal, and he was almost painfully content with being the secretary to someone with a five figure salary. But of course, on one fateful morning in December, that has to go and change, doesn't it? (Technically a sequel to Summertime, but I wouldn't say you need to have read Summertime to understand and enjoy this)Terminé

Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him hole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide. Can Gerard help Frank without revealing his own problems and emotions or will they become too much to bare? *Trigger warning *Still editing mistakes( I'm fully aware my grammar sucks) *also warning this is terribly written. Highschool is a living hell. At least that's Gerard's opinion because he can't pass the hallways without being shoved against lockers or called a "fag". God, how Gerard hated this word. In his last year of school, he decides to take a risk and starts a school project in which he wants to find out why all of his teachers and classmates hate homosexual people so much.
