Ever since his mom died from an accident, 17-year-old Wizardry student, Ether Pattinson noticed that life wasn't the same, even with magic at his own disposal. He had to move into a new home, meet new friends and go to a new school, but nothing was really exciting to him anymore. Not until one Sunday afternoon, in a crowded café, he came across a douchebag named Nathan Locke in the most unpleasant way possible.

Nathan, 18 years old and a Swordsmanship student, was the hottest guy on campus. He was team captain of their school's renowned tournament team, the Alphas, and had known nothing in his life but praise and adoration from his peers and mentors alike.

Two completely different guys from two completely different worlds, one was a master of magic while the other, a fearless swordsman. And it was as if they were biologically created to hate each other. And for a while, they did. Until one curious night, when the rest of the world was out of their way, they discovered so much about themselves.
