Malicai is a boy who is introverted and gay and he hates being away from his home and where he is the most comfortable. So when his parents shipped him off to boarding school he starts to shut everyone out not wanting any friends fearing they would push him away too. In his second year at Beautenmans Boarding School for Boys there is a boy that moves into his room.
Xander is the resident bad boy of Beautenmans. But after he gets in his fifth fight of the year with one of his roommates he is forced to move rooms. And the only other room available is with Malicai who he soon learns is gay and shut everyone out. Xander is the most handsome guy in Beautenmans, according to Malicai.
After Malicai gets a little used to Xander being his new roommate he starts to realize that he has a little crush on Xander and starts to open up to him to try and become his friend.
