Sam, a shy, 16 year old, closeted lesbian who has anxiety issues and abusive parents meets Avery, a soon to be Beta, who wasn't expecting to find her mate in a human girl. But when one act of kindness and tears start to turn things over, Avery realizes that she cannot keep Sam an arm's length away. Their relationship is put to a test with love and trust the only things keeping them at bay. Its an story about how the main character found his love of his life and how long distance ruined the relationship that involved guilt, loyalty and trust

The story is about a couple who've built a life together. One night during a fight they start to question their relationship. It follows as they unearth their deepest secrets, greatest challenges and biggest changes. Will they stay together at the end of the night?

Add in a normal, sarcastic apparently "different" high school girl and "the" hot, popular douchebag of a high school player, and voila : there you go! A cliched high school story.
