The south side of Busan. A place were drug dealers and criminals usually lived in, and everyone learned to live amongst them. A place Jimin didn't prefer, life style he never wanted, but he had no choice. Oh And him being gay wasn't making his life any easier.

In other words:
Jimin is a homosexual, and his best friend is a homophobic violent psychopath. And to make matters even worse, Jimin was fond of the criminal he called his best friend. The same person who'd beat up any homosexual he found in his way.
