America lost almost everything when he was 14. Including his best friend Russia. After six years of being a sailor, a couple of new sailors have arrived one day. America was moved to the engines while he was replaced upon the docks by someone else. Russia ends up coming back to town. What America doesn't know is that Russia's had feelings for since they were children. Russia doesn't know how to express his feelings for him. Their relationship grows stronger when they end up going to another town.

In fact, America tried at all costs to avoid getting beaten up. He got enough of that from his father. That is until one day when his little brother, Australia, came to him for help with a bully. As it turns out, this bully was a little more dangerous than America came to think. He falls into a problem he doesn't think he can escape and with no one to tell or turn to, he doesn't think he ever will. When his parents don't come home and his situation goes from bad to worse, America may have to turn to the one he's sure he hates. America felt like he was going to pop. Friday, a fortnight till prom is when he'll confess to him, and they'll go to prom together and have fun. Unless he rejects America, then he'll just go with his best friend and his best friend's boyfriend. His best friend, Poland...He had some odd taste. America wasn't sure what it was about his boyfriend, but he gave him such a strange feeling. Then again, America wasn't going to bring it up, because the two were together after years of Poland crushing on him.
