Brina Howell has just gone through a terrible tragedy. Her youngest cousin got into a bad accident and died in the hospital. But soon after he passed things start to surface that may just prove otherwise and Brina sent into a tail spin. 

Taj Martin is a teenager who has been face with loss in his life. Losing his sister at age  10 watching her die right before his eyes. That could change someone, turn them inside, like a little part of them dies.

Brina notices the own change within herself in Taj and they become fast friends. Together they unravel the mystery and the lies of the Brina's family. In the end it all comes down to a shocking conclusion.
