Per a request from Maddy's parents, she kept the secret of wild wolfbloods being around a secret and her backstory to Maddy, was that she grew up in the foster system and made her way to the Smith family as Maddy was only 9 when she arrived anyways. Now, they navigate a tense new reality having another wolfblood around, who doesn't necessarily know his way around the human world, helping him to adjust to the bullies around the school isn't easy. But the girls are up to the challenge... or so they hope that they are anyways. [Book 1]
