After the fires consume the world, there is only one group of people left: The people of the Genesis dome. These people live in peace and harmony with everyone working and leading their lives under the benevolent One. Since the people live so peacefully, there is only one rule: Always be in the dome before sunset. Kaze Alio lives in this way until one night, he doesn't make it back into the dome before sunset. But, what if it wasn't his fault that he couldn't get into the dome on time? And is the outside world really as bad as it seems? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thank you to Rose Gold Review Shop, Esthetique Reviews, Athena Reviews, Dreamland Reviews, and @annabellacx for reviewing this story and helping it to be better than ever. Ever thought surviving first period-and facing her best friend's boyfriend, whom she recently kissed-would be the hardest part of her day. She was wrong. The world is ending. Literally. Between dodging awkward hallway interactions with her best friend's boyfriend and dodging the apocalypse, Ever discovers she may be the one person capable of saving mankind. No pressure, right? But just when she's barely wrapping her head around her destiny, a mysterious (and annoyingly handsome) stranger shows up. He drives her crazy, yet somehow feels...familiar. And he just might hold the key to unlocking Ever's forgotten past and to stopping the strange, earth-shattering events unraveling the future. As secrets unfold and loyalties are tested, Ever has to make a choice: walk away from the chaos and pretend the world isn't ending or embrace her destiny and risk everything to save it. After all, being a teenager is hard. Being the savior of humanity? That's a whole new level. *This is book one in a series
