This story takes place in an alternate universe where Professor Layton hadn't mysteriously disappeared. Instead, he is able to spend time with his children until they grow up and live in their own homes. This story mainly focuses on Inspector Alfendi Layton and his memories and relationship with his biological older brother Samuel Layton. These memories go from childhood, to Sam's unfortunate passing. This is my first time writing a fanfic, so if you have any suggestions on what I can improve on, please let me know in the comments section. And if you have any questions about the story, you can ask in the comments section as well. I will try my best to answer some of them.
