Seventeen years ago, Dan Scott had gotten Karen Roe pregnant with twins just after they left high school but chose basketball and his college scholarship over his pregnant girlfriend and future babies, three months later he got another woman pregnant but this time chose to marry her and raise their child together. Lucas and Alexandra Scott, Karen and Dan's twins, never knew their father other than as the man who had abandoned them and hurt their mother in the worse way and all they knew of their younger brother was the reputation that he had created for himself as the star player on the high school basketball team.
However all that was about to change when half of the team was suspended due to an incident that happened after one of the game on a Friday night and lead the coach to try and recruit the twins to play on the team, including Alex Scott who knew that being the only girl in the team would be an issue to begin with.
