The God of Death, Thanatos, leaves his home to prove he is more than the Grim Reaper.
The God of peaceful death, Thanatos, is hated for his association with death. He takes souls from Earth to the Underworld, sending them on their way, whether it be to servitude or reincarnation for another chance at life. Despite his kindness to the humans who have passed, due to the war breaking out on Earth, they have blamed him and given him the name "Grim Reaper". The stories spread to the clouds, leaving him alone among the Gods and Goddesses. He is bothered by the nickname, eventually forcing him away from the clouds to make up for the mistakes he's made, and to help the ones who are harmed by the death of friends or family.

You would think being a death god would make for easy earnings. Well that is completely wrong. Thanatos does not find his job easy. Gathering souls was messy work. Whether its in a shipwreck or in a massacre, brought down by a god's wrath. Well there is an upside. He can meet some interesting people. See interesting places. One time he did meet someone very interesting one time while gathering souls after a shipwreck. One he did not think he would ever meet. A merman. Very interesting indeed.Complete

Death is inevitable, however he can't collect all of the souls by himself. That's were his children come in. Grim reapers are the children of Death. They are the ones to lead and protect souls on their journey between worlds. They were the first grim reaper and Deaths first child. They have been by his side since Eve was tempted by the snake and has shown nothing but loyalty to her father. They don't have a true name but is lovingly known as Hope by the angel and the demon of who they have always seemed to cross paths with. Why?
