There was never anything special about Lindsey Fluger.  As college girls went, she was about as plain and uninteresting as one could be. The fate of a nation hangs in the balance as Lindsey teams up with an enchanted bird, an ex-soldier and a renegade wizard to defeat the evil sorcerer Gurth.
