"People of Panem, Welcome to the 74th Hunger Games! Every year, tributes from every district in Panem fight to prove their strength and bring glory to their homes once they return victors. The Games are a symbol of the peace Panem brought long ago. Each year, they become harder, more complicated and more dangerous. Each year, the level of intensity increases and the tributes are required to show more than physical and mental might to save their sanity. But isn't it wonderful how many of you, young people, are ready to face the fight of their lives?"

Her district companion is a 13-year-old boy with no strengths whatsoever. District 5, which is basically used for power-plants, is no place for training for the Games. Her and the boy from her district are being overlooked. Between all of these problems is Amber, a 16-year-old girl from District 5 of Panem. With little training for the Games compared to the other tributes, winning will be difficult. Victory is low in chances, and for Amber, it seems like she will never get there. Despite her problems that could very well be fatal, she fights hard. But will a little inexperienced girl win against advanced fighters who have been training their whole lives? Nothing is for sure... - - - Dedications to my tribute-creators! I don't own the Hunger Games - blah blah - I created the characters - blah blah - you get the gist. Thanks and happy writing! x100
