What is to become of this?

Experience the degradation of a mans mental state as time progresses or do you look back on your past life and remember how much life was back then.

I wrote this story after taking a shower, i tend to get all my good ideas in the shower. Its my first short story that I have committed too finishing so feel free to give me any feedback.
