A story of two individuals from different worlds, parallel to one another. One, a human facing the unfortunate realities and responsibilities of adulthood; The other, a "Digital Monster" who stumbled into a sort of trouble his spells couldn't so easily get him out of. Neither were the least bit aware that the other's world existed until a fateful day when the gap between them was inadvertently crossed. The two must now face the consequences of this revelation, fending off unnaturally violent Digimon under the influence of a mysterious and nefarious source, encountering those who have struggled to keep these two worlds apart, and realizing that they may well be little more than two pieces in a much bigger game.

'In 10 years, when what is colorful turns monochrome, 25 humans, 81 colorful beings, and 5 Digital Monsters shall bring forth the dawn of a new era.' It is the year 2024. Ever since 2014, Casey Almenera has been a huge fan of Mixels. She's collected all the Lego sets, and she's seen all the minisodes and specials on YouTube (so many times, in fact, she probably lost count!). But her world is instantly shaken up the night after she has a peculiar dream. The mixels are brought into our world, and she meets the 2014 Infernites. Casey soon learns that she's part of a prophecy involving a group of 25 people known as 'The Chosen Ones', and is meant to save both the human world, and the home of all mixelkind. Join her, the Infernites, and the mysterious white anthropomorphic Triceratops, Gammamon, as they find the other Chosen Ones, their mixel partners, and navigate through this mixed-up journey they find themselves in!

The Digital World is experiencing a period of strife. During this time, it has suddenly found itself closely connected to the vibrant lands of Equestria. This sudden union has led to a Digital Gate opening up near the border between the Everfree Forest and Ponyville. From within the Gate, nine Digi-Eggs fall and land near Fluttershy's home. Finding the eggs, the Element Of Kindness takes them to her home to care for them. However, come the next day, the eggs have hatched into Baby Digimon. As the Mane Six and Spike form new bonds with these Digimon, they will soon find that the arrival of these strange Digital Monsters brings forth three significant things: New friends from another world. New dangers from that same world. And bonds that can overcome all obstacles.

A lone hero with a troubled past must ally himself with two of the Legendary Spirits of Hallow's Eve, who have allied with Digital Monsters Millenia ago in order to liberate the spiritual outskirts of the real world, and the Human world from a bone-chilling nightmare on the cusp of becoming reality...' Halloween is slowly arriving in the city of Santa Monica, but Dracmon is struggling with getting into the spirit of the holiday. However, things take a turn from strange to peculiar when some creepy things start happening around California, and when the virus attribute Digimon starts getting blamed for it all, he soon finds his way to a forest decorated with multiple different doors. Upon entering one of them, the Imp-like Digimon finds himself going face-to-face with an estranged town ruled with an iron fist by a Digimon feared by many in the ancient Digital world, putting him in the adventure for a lifetime with the Pumpkin King, and the being responsible for filling dreams to the Brim with fright, and they, alongside 2 Digimon that Dracmon was really close to in the past, must work together to save this town from its new tyrant, and the threat he poses to not only the other holiday realms, but also all of Earth!
