Orius, the Warlock of Avalar, is dying. Once he passes, the magic that closes the gap between the living and the dead worlds will falter, and the King of the Dead will march with his army. Erias, Juni and Mondo are his apprentices, and they are tasked with re-uniting the pieces of the Warlock's Codex. This tool will help the three apprentices unravel the mystery of the Divide, as well as closing it, saving humanity.

For centuries, the small village of Asra has been haunted by a beast of the forest. The beast would come every night and ravish the village. Fifteen years ago, villagers came up with this idea to offer the beast yearly sacrifices of 18 year old virgins. Raven is the village orphan. She is an outcast in the village. She never knew her parents. Her mother was murdered by the villagers and her father is an unknown man. After years of abuse from the villagers she ran away. She went into the deepest part of the forest. There she met the beast. Raven wasn't scared of him. Instead she was intrigued. The beast thought the child was insane. She came every day to see him, chattering about nothing important. Over time he started to warm up to her. Through the years they developed a sort of friendship. But what will the two do when on her eighteenth birthday, the village priest decides that Raven would be the sacrifice for that year? Will the beast kill his friend like he did the others? Or will he free her? ~~~~~~
