Byleth Eisner and her father Jeralt have moved into an old friend's neighbourhood in the city of Garreg Mach.

And now after years of being homeschooled, Byleth Eisner will now spend tenth grade and the remaining years in actual school for the first time. She will start attending...the Officer's Academy.

On her first day of school, she quickly noticed how literally everyone seems to be desperate to recruit anyone for the after school club activities.

Later that week, Byleth gets pestered again but bumps into a clumsy girl named Annette. She takes Byleth to her club room to help her find a place to study and she meets everyone in the chess club who refer to themselves as the Blue Lions. She recognised a few but more specifically the leader

Or rather the darkness within the leader known as Dimitri Alexandre....

Watch Byleth, Dimitri and the chess clubs (though this book won't be entirely focused on chess, just a warning) have their little adventures as they go through the school year! These little adventures including school events, group meet ups, fun memories etc.....

.....until the timeskip happens and five years pass.....
