My head was throbbing and my throat was sore. I peeled my eyes open and my vision was blurry.

No, it's just dark... Really, really dark. 
My heart was pouncing in my chest, I went to bring my hands to my face but instead hissed at the pain I was feeling.
I was in handcuffs, great. The metal pinched my skin and was scraping against my boney wrists.
My eyes adjusted to the darkness and i could faintly see a candle, a candle that was placed directly in the middle of this room. Wait... where am I? What is this place? Why was it so cold and why did it smell so musty. 
To the right corner of the room I could see a small window which was barred inside and out. The mattress beneath me had springs that were piercing through to my thighs. That's definitely going to scar..
I tried recalling what happened before I blacked out, though all I could remember was his face..
That disgusting, vile old man's face. 
He did this to me. 
Tears threatened to fall from my eyes but I kept myself together and blinked them away. My forest green eyes were stinging and most probably bloodshot. "Forest", Lillie is still out there somewhere and i'm stuck in this room and COMPLETELY HOPELESS.
I screamed out loud in frustration, "HELP, SOMEBODY HELP ME" 

Startling me, there was a long creaking sound coming from the left side of the room and I instantaneously turned my head in apprehension of danger.
