What happens when you find out that everything you ever believed, everything that fell into the idea of normal was a farce?
That the word normal was established to give a context to the everyday idea of sane and appropriate?
That every action you exhibit, every behavior you express, your past and future are all controlled by supernatural beings?
Yes we have been told many myths and truth. That there is a higher being above looking down on us. But what if you find out that there are higher beings, yes many, existing above who control everything around you?
A whole colony, a pack, group, a race. These creatures are not mythical. They are not your typical storybook fairy tales and myths.
They surpass those. They exist but have not been discovered. They walk amongst us but are unlike us.
They protect the human world from unknown and unseen forces. Creatures of the night.
They are the defenders of the human kind. Protectors of our realm.
They live for thousands of years without ageing. Exhibit human tendencies and attributes as a disguise. Mysteriously beautiful creatures.
Their ways completely unlike ours.
But what if you're allowed a glimpse of their world? Their life? You're given the privileges of seeing these creatures as they really are?
But the biggest coupe dé faux, is what if you find out you're one of them?

I am just about to turn around and head down the alley toward the street when I see two shadows step away from the wall a little farther down from where I am standing. I can't see any features, but I can guess from their statures that they are both men. I don't know what species they are though, but given that they just witnessed me kill a vampire I decide it's time to get the hell out of here. At least they aren't blocking my path to the street. It's only really good for killing werewolves, but it can do some damage to other supernaturals too. I don't know if I died or not, but the moment I regained my consciousness, I was already standing on a field full of grass and surrounded by trees. "W-what is that...?" I'm a ghost. Or at least I think I'm a ghost. No one can see me and I've been wandering the world aimlessly for years. I don't remember a time I wasn't a ghost. One day I didn't exist and the next I did. For the past 5 years though I've been following a team of supernatural investigators that are working to bring down a trafficking ring. Why? Well humans are boring for one. Secondly these men are captivating. Not only are they sexy as sin but I feel drawn to them in a way I've never felt drawn to anyone else. So for the past 5 years I've tagged along and pretended to be one of them, dreaming of what would happen if I was real. What happens when a magical assault pops me out of the veil and into the real world? Chaos. And hopefully chocolate, that stuff looks amazing. ***All of the characters are my own in this story. Why Am I Elena Gilbert?
You know, the idea of ending up in a fictional world such as this was supposed to be funny especially as Elena Gilbert because it could be throughly entertaining and disastrous. The best part, you're either dreaming a really long funny-messed up dream or you died and at least (most likely - hopefully) if you die you may end up back in your own body or you'll end up somewhere else you can mess everything up. Me? I happened to randomly wake up as Elena and considering my personality is much different from hers (and I've come to find extremely serious situations my favorite moment to laugh and be sarcastic) so I'm gonna mess everything up as much as I can. Do I really mind if I die? No. Why? Because I'm hoping once I die I'll either get home or end up elsewhere... being Sakura from Naruto would be entertaining, deadly, but entertaining This will end up being a Kai x Kol x Klaus x Elena x Tyler x Damon. In our world, We have a simple life, To people go to school, working on their jobs and having a company and so on and so forth. And the evolution of our planet earth kept on evolving.....but...have you ever wondered? When you where a kid you always thought that there's superheroes in our world that can fly and shoot lasers out of they're eyes. But that's just a fictional. Heck monsters and Giants are nothing but folklore and story's, They're just made up. There is no such thing as a zombie, ghost or even flowers that can talk or trolls walking around in the dark woods. Or even mythical creatures such as griffins, unicorns, mermaids, dragons ect. They aren't real, they are just stories and fantasy and nothing else....they are nothing else but a myth. But....What if.. What if...it wasn't? But instead it came from another world. And that world is what you have dreamed off, and not just one... millions of different world's and different possibility, a cartoonish world to dragon's and wizards. Or just straight up similar to our planet but without the letter H. These are called.... Dimensions. Till it was me they're hunting down, they locked me in a facility with horrific scientists. The other variants are my allies, the facility, our enemy. The leader of the facility is just another one of us, but he's standing on the opposite side, battling against us. Everyone can lie, but no one can deceive a psychic. Standing before him, you can't hide anything. Your thoughts, your schemes, the psychic hears it all. I, like every other variant locked in this place, dreamed of escaping. Continuous outrageous breakouts just to get recaptured? I need a disparate way, a more intriguing method to sneak myself out of here. Kaysen Hayes, leader of the facility, his job is to keep us all contained. Anyone who dares to escape will come to face him, and he never fails to trick us, put us into defeat. A few variants earned their alliance with the facility, like tamed animals, they'll come to help whenever there's a breakout. When I saw one of those variants, traitorous ideas sprung to my mind.
