They lived in Poland. At this point of time, Germany just declared war on Poland. Their mother dies unexpectedly in an attack,and their father dies at war. The twins must figure out how to adapt to staying with Mr. Vandel, their neighbor and his nephew, Fin, in his cottage in northern Poland.The only thing that could help was hope.
