This story takes place in both Portal 1 and 2. When a little girl wanders in to the Aperture Science laboratory, what will happen when everyone around her dies by neurotoxin and GlaDOS takes her in and raises her as her own.

NOTE (Please read): this story has changed and is now known as After All These Years (or AATY)! This au has changed since this was made and I am now rewriting it! While her purpose is to test and she still wishes to do so, GLaDOS found that many of the test subjects kept within Old Aperture were long dead or at risk of dying as soon as she took them out, and with Izuku as her last remaining subject in New Aperture, she decided to let him bring her to the outside, her last piece of humanity, discovered by the mute Chell centuries ago, wanting him to live his life, and the side which only wished for testing to see what these 'Quirks' were that had appeared.
