By the ocean lives a shut-in albino teenager, Akari. He goes by his life invisible to the eyes of everyone except from his family and his best friend Mira. But Akari, Mira and all of the people of their kind are actually keeping a huge secret from the world. They are, in fact, mermaids. But Akari's life was suddenly flipped upside down when one day he gets discovered in his mermaid form by a peculiar scuba diver. 

Owen is a rich social boy that seems to be perfect from head to toe. And for that, Akari despises him. But then, fate abruptly made him clash with the social outcast albino boy from his classroom, Akari. How will they both continue leading their lives now ? How will Akari adapt to Owen when he has to drop his facade to the boy he once hated ?
