Roughly a thousand years after BotW the Gerudo race has evolved and their women now bear male children at a rate nearly equal to the birthrate of female Gerudos and it makes it hella confusing for the latest reincarnations of Link and Zelda to figure out which one is the reincarnation of Ganondorf, but the dude isn't even named Ganondorf, it's like, Rowan or something, and they have a small Gerudo man named Ganondorf on the good side and it confuses and terrifies everyone but Link and Zelda and I can never write this stuff down because I suck at dialogue. In modern day Hyrule, Link is an orphan who lives in an orphanage. Because he is meant to be the Hero of Hyrule, his bunkmates get jealous and bully him for it. When Link enters first grade, he befriends Zelda, the most beautiful girl in Hyrule, and eventually falls in love with her. The two become inseparable, but everything changes when Zelda hits puberty; she vanishes and doesn't show up at school. Link tries to contact and find her, but no luck. Five years later, Link is a 16-year-old man with severe depression and a Hero chosen by the Master Rifle. He is still in love with Zelda and thinks about her every second of his life. One day, Link saves a woman from the Yiga clan members, and that woman turns out to be Zelda. She tells him about where she has been for the past five years, and once Link finds out the truth, he dedicates his days to helping Zelda feel safe and happy again away from her selfish, rich father Rhoam and her forced fiance, Ganondorf. While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda. Alright ladies and gents, It's wedding season in Castle Town and on this season of the bachelor is non-other than the Hero of Time! Link has defeated Ganondorf and Hyrule has once again recaptured its' reign of peace and prosperity. Or has it? Mayhem has returned to the land of Hyrule as news sweeps the nation that the Hero of Time must be wed! The royal family will hold a competition/ball, and all are welcome to enter. However, our hero Link has only eyes for one girl... and that's you dear reader! (For the sake of the story we are going to pretend Zelda does not send Link back to the child timeline.) This is a Link x Reader romance and my first time writing something of this genre. There will be a PG-13 ending AND an NC-17 one. I'm giving a whirl at some smut writing (you can thank the lack of romance in my life for that.) Link: a rogue troublemaker who steals from village people, flirts with all the women, and tortures the people of Hyrule. Living life the way he wants it, no rules, and not a care in the world. Zelda: a woman who gets tangled with the wrong people and doesn’t know that she was kidnapped as a child and is really the true ruler of Hyrule. She has a split personality where she thinks she’s Sheik, a worrier who fights for good. Ganondorf: the ruler of Hyrule who killed the king for his throne. He knows about Zelda being the real ruler but has kept that a secret this entire time. He also knows that Link is suppose to be the hero of time but doesn’t seem threatened by a rogue troublemaker. This story takes on a whole new twist of the Legend that I created. I do not own any characters, settings, or history in this story. This is just purely a fun fan fiction of the best video game ever. I hope you enjoy!

This is part 2 of my fanfic series, so If you haven't read the prequel of this story "Botw Reimagined: The Past", I highly recommend reading it before starting on this if you don't want to get confused. Moving from the past of breath of the wild, we finally get to the game portion of the story. (Story) 100 years after the tragedy that was the Great Calamity, Hyrule has finally seemed to have regained its footing. However, the seal on Calamity Ganon seems to be weakening, threatening to break any day now. Fortunately for Hyrule, a hero who has been thought long dead finally returns from a long slumber. That hero is Link. After sleeping for 100 years, Link seems to have lost all of his memories, especially the memories of his failure to protect those that he loved. of course, All rights to any known part of the game go to Nintendo please Nintendo, do not strike me down before I finish this series.
